CathysWake "Run Free" Number One on Release Day

What a phenomenal launch day for CathysWake. Just hours after our second studio album Run Free was officially unleashed at midnight, the international music community sent an undeniable signal across the digital landscape. Today, the project achieved a massive milestone directly out of the gate, dominating digital download rankings and proving once again that independent heavy music from Bavaria resonates powerfully across borders.

According to the official data from Songstats and iTunes, Run Free has captured the absolute top spot in multiple categories. The album claimed #1 on iTunes Rock Albums, reached #1 on Albums overall, and simultaneously fought its way to a stunning #4 on Overall Albums across all genres in Slovakia.

Seeing a 12-track symphonic metal concept album share the top tier with mainstream global releases on release day is a surreal testament to the loyalty and passion of our listeners. A massive, heartfelt thank you goes out to every metalhead, supporter, and digital pioneer in Slovakia and across the globe who purchased, downloaded, and pushed this record into the spotlight.

The momentum does not slow down for a second. The official cinematic music video for the title track Run Free has officially wrapped its global premiere and is now streaming live on the official CathysWake YouTube channel.

Featuring the visual narrative of the soaring open highway, the classic vintage cruiser, and the fierce spirit of personal freedom, the video perfectly translates the energy of the album into motion. If you missed the live countdown chat earlier, you can now experience the complete high-definition video on demand, dive into the comments, and share it with the heavy music community worldwide.

Operating as a 100% digital artist project, CathysWake breaks traditional boundaries by combining digital sound craftsmanship with uncompromising storytelling, massive orchestral depth, and heavy melodic metal drive. Every stream, every chart placement, and every comment fuels this continuous journey.

Whether you stream the album on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, or Amazon Music, download the uncompressed master files directly via the A.B.M.-PRODUCTIONS Webstore in WAV Studio Quality, or order the physical CD via elasticStage, the music is yours to explore.
